Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities
You will play a crucial role in safeguarding our competitiveness by conducting frequent, assertive negotiations to ensure a stable material supply and manage material prices in a volatile supply market.
Independently, you will form and finalize supplier contracts, synthesizing strategies from the company, Business Units, and Procurement, enriching them with insights on specific supply market development.
You will transform these strategies into material category strategies and ensure their successful implementation, continuously seeking innovative procurement solutions that support our business growth.
Additionally, you will manage relationships with internal stakeholders, fully understanding their unique requirements, and collaborate across departments and countries to create and implement effective procurement solutions.
Regular market research will also be conducted to ensure strict adherence to our product development processes and Procurement Guideline.
Requirements
You have completed a Bachelor's degree in economics, chemistry, or engineering and have several years of relevant professional experience in an international, industrial context, preferably in the chemical industry.
As an experienced negotiator, you are assertive and skilled, familiar with modern procurement processes and systems, and have ideally worked with value engineering/cost modeling methods and tools.
You understand material category management and product development processes, have experience in cross-functional and international project management, and are proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
Proficiency in Business English is required, and proficiency in German is a plus.
