Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• You will ensure a stable material supply and manage material prices in a volatile market by conducting frequent, assertive negotiations.
• You will independently form and finalize supplier contracts, enriching them with insights on specific supply market development.
• You will transform strategies into material category strategies and ensure their successful implementation.
• You will continuously seek innovative procurement solutions that support business growth.
• You will manage relationships with internal stakeholders, fully understanding their unique requirements.
• You will collaborate across departments and countries to create and implement effective procurement solutions.
• You will conduct regular market research and ensure strict adherence to product development processes and Procurement Guideline.

Requirements

• You have a Bachelor's degree in economics, chemistry, or engineering and several years of relevant professional experience in an international, industrial context.
• You are an experienced negotiator, assertive and skilled, familiar with modern procurement processes and systems.
• You have ideally worked with value engineering/cost modeling methods and tools, and understand material category management and product development processes.
• You have experience in cross-functional and international project management, and are proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• You thrive in cross-functional teamwork, are interculturally adaptable and internationally flexible, and proactive and open-minded.
• You are fluent in Business English, and proficiency in German is a plus.
