About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at PSG Germany GmbH. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy Development: Create short and long-term strategic plans, including product roadmaps and overall growth plans.
  • Product Portfolio Management: Develop and expand the product portfolio to support global sales strategies.
  • Market Analysis: Identify market needs, trends, customer satisfaction, and buying behavior through regular customer contacts, channel partners, and voice-of-customer studies or surveys.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop a pricing strategy for existing and new products, considering competitor products and market situations.
  • Sales Forecasting: Create sales forecasts for new and existing products and conduct the S&OP call for the Sales& Operations plan.
  • Customer Support: Support customers, sales, and distributors with information, application knowledge, and product data.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to support and implement marketing activities and initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, process engineering, or similar) or technical apprenticeship with correspondingly long professional experience.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in product management, business development, or technical sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the field of pump technology or with other technical capital goods.
  • Language Skills: Business fluent in written and spoken English and German.
  • Soft Skills: High customer orientation, goal-oriented, analytical, systematic way of working, entrepreneurial thinking, and strong communication skills.
