We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Amentum. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks on the CH-47 aircraft, including assembly, modification, and repair of major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, and related systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft components and systems.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve issues with aircraft systems and components.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure aircraft are airworthy and meet regulatory requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance procedures, techniques, and technologies.
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience required.
- FAA A&P or FCC Elements 1 and 3 required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance, NAC-I T1 Public Trust.
- US Citizenship required to obtain a T1/CAC NACI Clearance.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent travel to potential combat areas worldwide. The ability to climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crouch, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions is essential.
