CH-47F Maintenance Test Pilot

Job Description

As a CH-47F Maintenance Test Pilot at Amentum, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and operation of the CH-47F aircraft meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Test and evaluate the performance of the aircraft, including its systems and components.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest regulations, procedures, and technologies.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1,000 hours of total PIC time, with 300 hours of PIC on the CH-47F.
  • Satisfactorily completed a proficiency check within the previous 12 months.
  • Qualified in the CH-47F.
  • US Citizenship required for Secret Clearance.
  • Valid US Passport required for travel to Germany.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Military technical school or specialized training course.
  • Successfully completed Army Maintenance Test Pilots Course (MTPC) or equivalency evaluation.
  • US Army AMOC (phase 1&2) complete and qualified.
  • FAA Class II flight physical required.
Working Environment:

May be exposed to extreme noise, fumes, and electrical shock hazards. Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth. Must be physically capable of climbing vertical ladders or built-in aircraft steps to heights of 10-12 feet.
