SAP EDI Integration Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP EDI Integration Specialist to join our team at Freudenberg. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and integrating interfaces using our digital platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement EDI interfaces using SAP and other digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with external IT providers and SAP Key Users to execute projects and ensure effective integration.
  • Act as the primary contact for EDI integrations with internal and external business partners.
  • Provide 2nd level support for EDI tasks, conduct technical analysis, and define work packages to improve existing business processes.
  • Drive the digitalization and automation of manual processes, supporting processes within SAP ERP, and collaborating with the international IT organization for enhanced efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Technical vocational training or degree in a sector related to IT.
  • Initial experience in IT project management is highly desirable.
  • Motivation and curiosity about different IT-based logistical processes.
  • Experience with transfer protocols such as AS2, REST, (S)FTP, http.
  • Knowledge with SAP modules or willingness to learn SAP-ERP / SD.
  • Knowledge of IT interfaces and EDI standards (EDIFACT, ANSI-X12, XML) is highly desirable.
  • Good English skills to operate in intercultural teams.
