EDI Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP EDI Integration Specialist to join our team at Freudenberg. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and integrating interfaces using our digital platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement EDI interfaces with external business partners, ensuring timely and accurate data exchange.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external IT providers to execute projects, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
• Provide 2nd level support for EDI tasks, conduct technical analysis, define work packages, and contribute to the continuous improvement of existing business processes.
• Drive the digitalization and automation of manual processes, supporting processes within SAP ERP, and collaborating with the international IT organization for enhanced efficiency.

Requirements:

• Technical vocational training or degree in a sector related to IT.
• Initial experience in (IT) project management.
• Motivation and curiosity about different IT-based logistical processes.
• Experience with transfer protocols such as AS2, REST, (S)FTP, http.
• Knowledge with SAP modules or willingness to learn SAP-ERP / SD.
• Know-how with IT interfaces and EDI standards (EDIFACT, ANSI-X12, XML) are desirable.
• Good English skills to operate in intercultural teams.
