Join our team as a working student in the Banking & Regulation department of RWE AG. We are looking for a motivated individual to support our team in their daily work on regulatory reporting requirements.

​Your responsibilities
We are seeking a working student to assist our team in the following tasks:

  • Support the team in their daily work on regulatory (transaction) reporting requirements (e.g. EMIR, CFTC, REMIT...)
  • Check incoming invoices and initiate the settlement process
  • Daily processing of existing reporting structures for reporting obligations to national (BNetzA, statistical agencies) and international regulatory authorities for physical and derivative business
  • Interaction with internal interfaces and counterparties
  • Documenting processes and procedures

Requirements

  • You are successfully studying Business Administration or a comparable course of study
  • Interested to learn more about energy (commodity) trading and its regulatory framework
  • You enjoy working with various applications and have a good knowledge of the MS Office (esp. Excel & Power BI)
  • You enjoy working internationally and have a good command of German and English
  • Team player with good communication skills

Advantageous, but not a must

  • Energy-specific knowledge
  • Data analysis experience
