Total Rewards Director Job Description

At Delivery Hero, we are seeking a highly skilled Total Rewards Director to lead our global total rewards strategy. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive total rewards program that supports the organization's goals and enhances employee engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a total rewards strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Executive Compensation: Manage executive compensation programs, including base salary, short-term incentive, and equity plans.
  • Compensation Management: Oversee salary structures, pay practices, and incentive programs to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Benefits Management: Lead the definition and implementation of a global benefits strategy, including health insurance and wellness initiatives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market assessments and benchmarking to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Compliance: Ensure all total rewards programs comply with global guidelines and legal regulations.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of total rewards programs and inform decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with People Partners, Finance, and leadership to align total rewards strategy with business objectives.
  • Communication: Develop and execute communication strategies to educate employees about total rewards offerings.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in total rewards management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in global total rewards programs, including attraction and retention strategies, pay and performance cycles, executive compensation, equity, compliance, and data utilization.
  • Experience in organizational design is ideal but not mandatory.
  • Team Management: Experience managing cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
  • Understanding of multi-country tax, compensation, and regulatory environments.
  • Ability to navigate dynamics between centralized total rewards functions and regional/local hubs.
  • Strong understanding of global total rewards principles, practices, and trends, including equity.
