At Exyte, we're driven by a shared vision of innovation and excellence. As a Sales and Business Development Manager, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our future in the high-tech markets of semiconductors, batteries, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and data centers.
About the Role
We're seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in sales and business development. Your expertise will help us expand our product portfolio, drive sales growth, and build strong relationships with customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of corrosive exhaust systems in the Coated Metal Business Unit portfolio, focusing on the Semiconductor and Industrial markets.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for product portfolio expansion, leveraging market analysis and trend observation.
- Participate in trade fairs and congresses as an exhibitor and visitor, fostering business relationships and staying up-to-date on industry developments.
- Manage key accounts for selected customers and geographic regions, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Contribute to marketing materials, sharing your expertise and insights to help drive business growth.
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets, demonstrating your ability to drive business results.
- Maintain close relationships with our manufacturing site in the Czech Republic, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
Requirements
- Academic degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent educational background.
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable industry, with a strong track record of sales and business development.
- Experience in selling manufactured products into the construction industry, with a deep understanding of technical explanations and customer needs.
- Proven ability to work in a matrix organization, with excellent communication and project management skills.
- Extensive experience in direct sales, with a strong focus on customer relationships and service orientation.
- Advanced skills in English and German language, both verbally and in writing.
- Relevant experience in selling products that require technical explanation, with a strong sales personality and customer focus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and situations.
