Fotografiska Berlin GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Barback to join our team at Bar Clara. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our bar operations, providing exceptional service to our members and guests, and maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Service Preparation: Ensure the bar is set and ready for service, including stocking and restocking of liquor, mixers, and collateral, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Service Delivery: Provide prompt, seamless, and exceptional service to members and guests, including taking orders, serving drinks, and handling cash and credit transactions.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including liquor, mixers, and collateral, and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
- Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the bar team to ensure seamless service delivery, including communicating with colleagues and management to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Knowledge and Skills: Possess a thorough knowledge of drinks menus, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, and be able to articulate this knowledge to guests in an engaged and thoughtful manner.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including responding promptly to member and guest requests, soliciting feedback, and using this feedback to improve service delivery.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and guests, including using clear and concise language, and being approachable and friendly.
