**The Role**

Located on the top floor of Fotografiska Berlin, Bar Clara invites you to immerse yourself in a world where art, music, and a luxurious beverage program converge for a truly unforgettable experience.

Our Bar Clara Barback aids in maintaining the success of the Bar Clara team, pre, during, and post the hours of service. Requiring an ability to anticipate the needs of the beverage team during a cocktail bar service, the role will work in a high-touch and fast-paced environment. Observant and efficient, they strive to work within the team atmosphere, ensuring our Members and Guests receive prompt, seamless and exceptional service. Reporting to the Bar Clara Manager, our Barback represents the Bar Clara operations with hospitality, warmth, and grace in every interaction.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience as a Barback, Server Attendant, or similar entry-level role in luxury hospitality, food + beverage environments.
- Ensure the Bar Clara is set and ready for service with detailed attention to keeping the bar fully stocked throughout service and restocked end of service for the following shift.
- Set up and break down the bar with attention to detail and consistency, always following the set checklist for all duties.
- Check inventory par levels to ensure the bar team has access to all liquor products, mixers, and collateral, available at their disposal at all times throughout service.
- Detailed organization of Liquor storage, wine cellar inventory, and all liquor product placement. Ability to receive and stock deliveries in the correct areas of the of Bar Clara operations, with a clear and organized approach.
- Clear, wash, and re-stock glassware throughout the shift, maintaining correct par levels of clean glassware at all bar and floor stations for service.
- Follow recipes and par guidelines to make specialty syrups, juices, and garnishes.
- Maintain a working knowledge of drink menus to assist bar staff with the running of drinks and the ability to articulate to guests in an engaged and thoughtful manner.
- Maintain thorough working knowledge of coffee and tea menus and be able to articulate to guests in an engaged and thoughtful manner.
- Thorough working knowledge of all beverages: coffee/tea/non-alcoholic/wines/beers/spirits.
- Ensure the coffee area is set and ready for service and always kept tidy manner as it is guest facing.
- Consistently follow the Bar Clara sequence of service utilizing all proper procedures standardized by the F&B leadership team.
- Transporting ice to multiple levels and keeping ice levels for all bar activations.
- Maintain bar fridge cleanliness and maintenance, defrosting of bar fridges to accurate temperature's if required.
- Competency in conversing with Members and Guests regarding Fotografiska programs and amenities.
- Impeccable customer service by responding promptly to Member / Guest requests and soliciting feedback to the Leadership team to always improve service.
- Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
- Knowledge of craft and classic cocktails along with old world / new world wines a plus.
