About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Research Lead Engineer to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a key member of our Process R&D team, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and process improvement across our global business.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new process technologies to improve product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and scale up new processes and products.
- Collaborate with R&D, Innovation, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of process development projects.
- Conduct process optimization studies to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to existing processes.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including process flowsheets, operating procedures, and training materials.
- Provide technical guidance and support to production teams to ensure successful implementation of new processes.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Process Research Lead Engineer with a strong background in chemical engineering and process development. You should have a proven track record of delivering process innovation and improvement projects, with a focus on cost reduction, efficiency gains, and product quality enhancement.
Requirements:
- PhD or M.Sc in Chemical or Industrial Engineering with a strong background in process development and optimization.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in process development, with a focus on chemical engineering and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of process engineering principles, including mass and energy balances, thermodynamics, and kinetics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English and German is required.
