Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS/ES&S & Process Safety Manager to join our team at IFF N&H Germany GmbH & Co. KG in Bomlitz.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement hazardous substance management strategies, ensuring compliance with chemical law, REACH, CLP, and other relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate the emergency management system for the entire Industrial Park, including training and drills, to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Oversee the Site Process Safety Management System, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Lead and document Process/ Dust Hazard Analysis (PHA/ DHA), LOPA, and HIRA studies in all plants and departments.
  • Develop and implement EHS relevant standards and programs, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Provide expert advice and support to plants and departments in developing their occupational and process safety culture.
  • Network with the global company's EHS organization to share best practices and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Monitor and track legal requirements in hazardous substance management, chemical law, occupational safety, fire protection, hazard prevention, emergency management, site security, and process safety.

Requirements:

Your Profile:

  • University degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and relevant training in hazardous substance management, chemical law, Process Safety Management, and Reactive Chemicals.
  • Several years of professional experience in a production environment in the chemical industry.
  • Experience in occupational and process safety, with a focus on hazardous substance management.
  • Certification as "Sicherheitsfachkraft".
  • Fluent German and English skills.
  • First experience in direct or indirect team leadership.
