Commodity Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commodity Procurement Specialist to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing activity, managing tendering and contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with company requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the sourcing activity, manage tendering and contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with company requirements
- Participate in multifunctional and multidivisional teams throughout the tendering, contracting, and contract life cycle phases with a transnational and transdivisional approach, taking into account the worldwide perimeter of the entire group
- Contribute to the competitiveness of Airbus Customer Services in close cooperation with the multifunctional team
- Implement and ensure the application of the engineering services procurement strategy to customers in accordance with processes
- Monitor contracts with suppliers, ensuring that suppliers deliver expected performance in all areas (e.g. logistics, support, quality, costs)
- Manage daily professional and trustworthy relationships with suppliers and execute projects to optimize Airbus value while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks, adhering to company ethics and compliance standards
- Analyze the supplier landscape
- Prepare decision meetings and coordinate activities, consolidating information
- Exchange best practices, implement projects, and deliver procurement contributions to transformation initiatives
- Manage risk activities (e.g. assessment, reporting) for the area of responsibility
- Build efficient, consistent, and trusting relationships with key stakeholders and align towards suppliers in the area of responsibility, aggregating information for procurement leaders
- Manage transnational and transdivisional sourcing projects and serve as the focal point for the commodity leader
- Negotiate, establish, and implement national and transnational frame contracts
- Manage contracts with contract reviews with Airbus' internal customers and suppliers, evaluate and improve suppliers' performance in terms of time, costs, and quality, and ensure contractual agreements are up-to-date and compliant with procurement policies
- Contribute to business case development (including validation of procurement baseline) and ensure savings reporting in line with the requirements of Airbus Group and/or divisional savings programs
- Provide rules and process information to Business Operations to ensure correct execution of transactional procurement activities to full customer satisfaction
- Completed studies in the field of business administration, engineering, economics, or a comparable qualification
- Over 5 years of professional experience in purchasing, supplier management, and contract management
- First knowledge of how to use Click 'n Buy
- Good knowledge in project management
- Proficient knowledge of German
- Fluent in English
- Willingness for occasional business trips (3-4 times a year)
