Global Commodity Manager Job Description

**Job Summary**

As a Global Commodity Manager at Nordex Group, you will be responsible for the global procurement and negotiation of hybrid towers for Nordex projects. This role requires a strategic understanding of company needs and the ability to manage supply chains to achieve best-in-class agreements with suppliers.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Procure and negotiate hybrid towers globally
* Develop and maintain commercial relationships with global suppliers of hybrid towers
* Coordinate and manage sourcing/procurement tasks for new tower developments
* Manage risks and report on project progress
* Develop strategic partnership agreements to ensure competitive terms and conditions
* Meet budget targets and improve profit margins for hybrid towers

**Requirements**

* Technical background with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical, industrial, or economical engineering
* Several years of experience in a comparable position or task
* Strong knowledge of project and procurement management methods
* Experience in contract management
* Fluent English and German language skills
* Convincing communication skills with external and internal parties
* Experience working in a matrix organization of an international company
