Job Summary:

Insulet Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Clinical Manager to lead the delivery and embedding of Clinical Training and Education in Region. The successful candidate will develop the skills and competencies of the Clinical Team, comprised of Clinical Service Managers and Clinical Product Educators, and advance our in-country Clinical Capabilities as a strategic resource in the Customer Pathway.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers and internal teams to develop strategic Pathway programmes and position the Clinical Team for maximum customer value and service.
  • Build knowledge and drive clinical excellence with the Sales Team in Region to increase Omnipod adoption and achieve sales goals.
  • Lead strategic execution and direction of Education and Training within the regional team.
  • Direct and deliver New Product launch training to Internal Teams in conjunction with other commercial functions.
  • Develop and deliver education programmes for internal clinical and sales teams to drive expertise and achieve best-in-class service to customers.
  • Create Educational Material and use the Veeva Medical Review (MLR) framework for approval of content.
  • Assist with sales events such as pump clinics, pump support groups, info sessions, in-the-office educational events, patient info nights, JDRF walks, vendor days, etc.
  • Promote the benefits of insulin pump therapy and sell Omnipod Insulin Management System to providers, Key Opinion Leaders, and product users.
  • Evaluate and support Certified Pod Training and CSMs in skills needed to be effective and excellent in helping patients move to Omnipod therapy.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales Excellence, Clinical Teams, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and all functions across Insulet Europe to enhance patient training based on business needs of territory.
  • Coach the Clinical Service Managers and Hybrids in Field in partnership with the Regional Sales Managers.
  • Ability to understand the importance of engagement and work in conjunction with HCPs for superior patient training outcomes.
  • Lead product training & clinical topics development and delivery for Sales and Clinical onboarding in Region.
  • Ability to perform administrative duties and complete/turn in on a timely basis.
  • Provide field feedback to Sales Management & Sales Excellence based on training of internal hires, HCPs, and patients.

Requirements:

  • Diabetes Technology experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior industry/commercial experience strongly preferred.
  • Clinical coaching experience essential.
  • Professional and polished presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communications, both oral and written.
  • Self-started who needs minimal direction; extremely flexible, with good business acumen.
  • Strong contributing member of the commercial team.
  • Credibility and contacts within the diabetes community.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially MSExcel, MSPowerpoint, Veeva.

Education and Experience Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 – 8 years' experience of delivering and embedding clinical training to Field Teams and HCPs.
  • Professional up-to-date credentials and/or certifications are preferred: i.e. Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Registered Dietitian (RD), or Registered Nurse (RN).
