Senior Business Development Manager, GAS

The Key Account Manager for the GAS region is responsible for driving sales of all company products, solutions, and services in the targeted territory or market segment. This role involves serving key account customers in the GAS region, building the market, and acting as the focal contact of Gilbarco Veeder-Root in that market.
Main Responsibilities
• Lead the implementation of go-to-market strategy for the GAS region
• Develop and implement local strategies to increase sales and build sustainable competitive advantages in the market
• Build new partnerships and represent the company in industry events and marketing activities
• Foster internal collaboration around sales projects and targets
Requirements
• Experience in Key Account Management
• Understanding of Business-to-Business (B2B) sales, partner-based business models, basic marketing concepts, and instruments
• Advanced understanding of sales operations
• Proficient understanding of digital channels, e-commerce, project management, and program management
Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of retail fuel market and related technologies
• Understanding of forecourt equipment and how it works
• Understanding of retail and digital payment technology
• Complete fluency in German and English, with native-level capability of German preferred
Education/Certification
• BA or higher level in Sales/Marketing/Business/Engineering disciplines
• Additional education and certification in project sales, project management, marketing, and business development may be an advantage
