We are seeking a seasoned Senior Director, Enterprise to lead our sales team in Germany, focusing on Chemicals & Logistics. As a key member of our EMEA sales team, you will be responsible for recruiting, growing, and motivating a team of Account Executives, driving sales growth, and expanding existing business in the Consumption and Commit model.
Your Impact:
- Develop and coach a high-performing team of Strategic Account Executives to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
- Build trust-based relationships with customers to drive long-term success in the region.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of Databricks to customers through proposals and presentations.
- Stay up-to-date with category-specific landscapes and trends, identifying opportunities to shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to create, implement, and manage a complete revenue process.
- Maintain a deep understanding of technical product details and roadmap to win the hearts and minds of C-suite buyers and developers.
What We Look For:
- Proven track record of success as a high-growth enterprise software sales leader.
- Ability to engage with and hire top sales talent in the market.
- Clear focus on methodology-based sales coaching, including MEDDPIC, Command of the Message, and Challenger Sales.
- Expert knowledge of value-based sales with business and IT, including C-suite.
- Experience in leadership roles focused on developing and managing new sales organizations to influence, develop, and achieve objectives in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS sales.
- Able to articulate and evangelize the value and align it with customer outcomes.
- Fluency in German and English is essential.
