At Merz Therapeutics, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Expert to lead our Real World Evidence (RWE) strategy. As a key member of our Medical Affairs team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing evidence generation plans, analyzing real-world data, and providing strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Evidence Planning: Develop comprehensive evidence plans, oversee project management for outsourced studies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Real World Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets, create evidence-based reports, and derive strategic insights to inform business decisions.
- Patient-Centric Approach: Ensure the ethical conduct of studies, prioritize patient safety, and incorporate patient input into study planning.
- Advisory Boards: Plan and implement advisory boards with key stakeholders to inform study design and strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams, including Medical Affairs, Commercial, and R&D, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Organizational Development: Ensure compliance with standards and procedures to support Medical Affairs operations and drive business growth.
- Strategic Communication: Build thought leader relationships, guide writing processes, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT): Align IIT strategy and communicate results internally to inform business decisions.
- Medical or scientific degree, experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and a track record in RWE.
- Experience in clinical study planning, project management, and strong communication skills.
- Fluency in English, knowledge of German is a plus.
