We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Expert to join our team at Merz Therapeutics. As a key member of our Medical Affairs department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing integrated evidence generation strategies, managing RWE projects, and providing recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Your primary focus will be on creating an integrated evidence plan (IEP) and study designs to generate scientific evidence, as well as managing outsourcing during study conduct. You will also analyze real-world data (RWD) and create evidence-based reports to inform strategic suggestions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement integrated evidence generation strategies
- Manage RWE projects and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Create IEPs and study designs to generate scientific evidence
- Analyze RWD and create evidence-based reports
- Ensure patient safety and ethical conduct of studies
- Implement and plan advisory boards with HCPs, patients, and payors
- Engage in cross-functional teams and represent Medical Affairs in project teams
- Work in accordance with SOPs, policies, and procedures
- Develop strategic communication plans and thought leadership relationships
- Medical or scientific university degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or Pharmacy (MD, PhD)
- Relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry, with track record of successful RWE strategy and execution
- Experience in planning, interpretation, and publication of clinical studies
- Strong project management skills and familiarity with agile working methods
- Fluent in English, German ideally at least basic conversational
- Strong team-working and communication skills, able to understand and communicate complex science
