As an Employee Relations Specialist - HR Business Partner at Delivery Hero, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of consistent, knowledgeable, and professional services in areas including disciplinary, grievance, probation, performance, long-term sick leave, etc. Your expertise will ensure that all such matters are dealt with in line with policy, best practice, and legislative requirements to mitigate risk.
Key Responsibilities- Provide ER advice and guidance to People Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders on reorganization and restructuring activity in line with local employment practices and employment law.
- Support the curation and delivery of relevant training and education to improve HRBP and leader effectiveness and help drive better ER decisions.
- Build partnerships with business leaders and our People Partner team (HRBPs) to sustain positive employee relations practices.
- Foster strong working relationships with our Employment Legal team, compliance, and investigations teams to balance risk and assist in calibrating recommendations for decision-making.
- Prepare information, and documentation and assist in the consultation of works councils to advise on business decisions.
- At least 2 years of experience in HRBP (preferred) or other People roles (HR Support, Employee Relations, People Analytics, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree, ideally focusing on HR, employment law, or something similar
- Fluent in English; German is a big plus
- Experience in negotiations with the Workers Council from an HR perspective
- Highly passionate about creative problem-solving and excellent interpersonal skills and communication with an eye for detail
- Structured thinker with experience in program/project management
- Progressive, hands-on, and customer-obsessed person with the credibility and gravitas to succeed in a fast-moving and customer-focused high-tech environment
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with an ability to connect at all levels of an organization and foster positive collaborative environments and relationships
- Team player and love to think outside the box
