About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to join our European business team. As a key stakeholder, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, achieving revenue targets, and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of our business in Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and maximize new business development opportunities and sales channels in Europe to establish a market position in protection plans for consumer electronics, appliances, home repair, and other segments.
  • Proactively prospect and win new accounts, building out a strong funnel.
  • Develop and execute sales plans and profit targets to contribute to business goals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of proven previous experience within a Sales position, meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Previous experience and knowledge within a similar position in the Insurance industry is essential and knowledge / network within our target segments: consumer electronics retailers & OEMs, Utility providers (Gas & Electricity), Banks / Bancassurance, Telcos & Internet service providers, InsurTech, Platform, APIs & Integrations.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels, including executive and C-level.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
