About the Job

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of European Distribution and Logistics to join our team. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our logistics strategy for Europe, ensuring seamless execution of our distribution operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to meet business objectives and drive growth in Europe
  • Lead cross-functional teams to optimize distribution operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure alignment on sales and distribution strategies
  • Manage relationships with 3PL partners and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of logistics operations
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce operational risks
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective logistics operations
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain operations or project/process management
  • Proven experience as a Distribution Manager, preferably within a 3PL environment
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes
  • Excellent knowledge of European transportation regulations, international practices, and competitive market environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focus on continuous improvement, risk management
  • Proven track record in problem solving and process improvements including measurable outcomes
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (preferably FMS), BI Reporting, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to read and apply operational metrics with the right balance between analytical and process understanding skills
  • Fluent in English; other European languages are an added value
