About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of European Distribution and Logistics to join our team at Levi Strauss & Co. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for driving the growth of our business through the optimization of our logistics consumer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to optimize logistics operations and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and implement new technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of logistics professionals to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of logistics operations and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain operations or project/process management.
  • Proven experience as a Distribution Manager, preferably within a 3PL environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of European transportation regulations, international practices, and competitive market environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, focus on continuous improvement, risk management.
  • Proven track record in problem solving and process improvements including measurable outcomes.
  • Hands on experience with SAP (preferably FMS), BI Reporting, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to read and apply operational metrics with the right balance between analytical and process understanding skills.
  • Fluent in English. Other European languages is added value.
