Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading the distribution and logistics function in Europe, ensuring seamless customer experience and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with experience in people management and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve distribution and logistics operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of distribution and logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive business growth.
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions and drive operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement budgets and forecasts to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, with specialization in logistics or supply chain management.
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain operations or project/process management, with 10+ years of experience in people management.
  • Proven experience as a distribution manager, preferably within a 3PL environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of European transportation regulations and international practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with focus on continuous improvement and risk management.
