Head of Retail Expansion Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our retail expansion efforts in Italy. As the Head of Retail Expansion, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive growth strategy for the Italian market, driving business growth through strategic partnerships and expansion into new retail channels.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct market analyses to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategic recommendations for action.
- Lead and develop a national and international key account team to effectively manage sales in stationary and digital retail.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with retail partners to build long-term and successful collaborations.
- Monitor and control the entire expansion process, from planning to successful implementation.
- Regularly report to C-Level on the progress and results of retail expansion.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in retail, quick commerce, and expansion in the FMCG or food sector with market-specific knowledge of the Italian food culture.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with experience in fast-growing environments.
- Excellent English language skills and relevant additional language skills, with German language skills being a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and successfully implement complex projects.
- Professional appearance and drive, with a hands-on mentality.
