Industry Principal, Retail Transformation Expert

We're looking for a seasoned Industry Principal to join our Retail team at Celonis. As a trusted advisor, you'll engage with C-level executives, representing our unique value proposition in the Retail & Consumer Goods industry. Your expertise will help customers unlock productivity by placing data and intelligence at the core of their business processes.

The Role:

As an Industry Principal, you'll blend deep process and industry expertise with a proven consulting skill set. You'll work closely with our customers' IT teams, guiding them through their EMS journey and accelerating value realization. Your hands-on experience with Celonis EMS will enable you to build dashboards, Apps, and Action Flows, demonstrating the power of our platform.

The Work You'll Do:

  • Discuss strategic avenues with customers' top executives to drive in-fiscal-year returns using Celonis capabilities.
  • Develop a platform strategy for rapid improvements within customers' core operational and financial areas.
  • Collaborate with Value Engineering teams to discover and translate customers' strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases.
  • Participate in Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects and communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives.

Influence Business Application Development:

  • Work with field and Marketing teams on messaging, positioning, and campaigns across all industries, influencing business application development and innovation.
  • Provide feedback to our product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform and Apps based on new use cases.

Develop Go-to-Market Strategies and Value Execution Programs:

  • Co-create sales enablement and value execution programs with Celonis' global field sales and value engineering teams.
  • Drive never-before-possible efficiencies by leveraging Celonis EMS capabilities to optimize end-to-end processes.
  • Build a strategic expansion roadmap for customers embedding Celonis EMS as a strategic business transformation platform in their organization.

The Qualifications You Need:

  • Value Selling Methodology: Advanced knowledge and experience following the Celonis value selling methodology, including discovery, qualification, value assessment, and PoV's.
  • Product Expertise: Expertise in guiding customers' IT teams throughout their EMS journey, demonstrating hands-on the power of EMS and accelerating value realization.
  • Value Realization: Advanced knowledge and expertise in identifying and prioritizing use cases, implementing improvement measures, and becoming a change agent for the customer.
  • Project Management: Ability to plan and manage project scope, expectations, and timelines, managing multiple projects across aligned accounts.
  • Executive Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in preparing and communicating results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
  • Domain Expertise: Advanced business domain expertise in discrete manufacturing and strategic transformation initiatives.

Industry Expertise: Advanced Retail and Consumer Products industry expertise and a proven ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities.
