ARTS is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Balance Accountant to join our growing team in Dresden. We are a dynamic company specializing in providing comprehensive financial solutions to our clients.

As a Balance Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including processing transactions, preparing financial statements, and handling accounts receivable and payable.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Process ongoing business transactions (general ledger accounting) for our clients.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, encompassing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB within established deadlines.
  • Handle payments and monitor account balances.
  • Prepare monthly BWA, annual balance sheet, and statistics.
  • Post all business transactions within the financial accounting framework.
  • Support and maintain accounting in the client's ERP system.

Your Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of commercial training.
  • Proven experience in accounting, including financial accounting, document processing, invoicing, debt collection, accounts receivable & payable, and asset accounting.
  • Additional qualifications such as tax specialist or certified accountant are advantageous.
  • Proficiency with DATEV.
  • Strong IT affinity and interest in digital work are desirable.
