Construction Development Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Engineer (m/w/d) to join our team at Bertrandt. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions for kitchen appliance construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement design concepts for kitchen appliance construction
  • Evaluate and optimize designs through theoretical and experimental methods
  • Design and assemble functional prototypes
  • Refine designs to meet production requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application technology, materials science, and production
  • Design and develop production-ready components
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and service providers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Experience in developing design concepts and bringing them to production-ready status
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX and Teamcenter
  • Experience in mechanical drive technology, including bearings, seals, and couplings
  • Familiarity with metal and sheet metal processing, as well as joining techniques
  • Excellent German and English language skills
