About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Engineer to join our team at Ed. Züblin AG. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics concepts for construction sites, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics plans for construction sites, including logistics phase plans and logistics handbooks
  • Plan and organize logistics and site equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and minimizing waste
  • Conduct further investigations and optimizations within logistics phases, including budgeting and quantity calculations
  • Optimize logistics-related construction processes, applying LEAN Construction principles to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Participate in site operations, supporting the operational team in implementing construction process management, including tendering, awarding, and executing logistics services
  • Support the site management team in contract and tender negotiations for logistics services
  • Develop and implement 5S workshops on construction sites to create comprehensive construction processes along the value chain
  • Act as a point of contact for contract and tender negotiations during project setup and change management
  • Participate in internal training, audits, and workshops to continuously expand your knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture or equivalent
  • Several years of experience as a site manager, project manager, or in a comparable role
  • Knowledge and experience in construction site logistics are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel within NRW
  • Excellent communication skills, confident demeanor, and quick understanding
