Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Development Engineer (m/w/d) Construction to join our team at Bertrandt. As a key member of our construction development team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing innovative solutions and concepts for construction tasks in the field of kitchen appliances
  • Evaluating designs systematically (theoretically and experimentally) and supporting concept selection
  • Constructing and assembling (partial) functional patterns
  • Developing solutions to series-ready constructions
  • Collaborating actively with experts from various disciplines (e.g. application technology, materials technology, production)
  • Designing production- and assembly-friendly components for large series production
  • Collaborating with external suppliers and service providers

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field
  • Experience in developing concepts and their constructive elaboration to series maturity
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX, with Teamcenter knowledge being advantageous
  • Experience in mechanical drive technology (bearings, seals, couplings) is desirable
  • Familiarity with metal/plate processing and joining techniques is advantageous
  • Good German and English language skills
