Team Overview
You will be part of the Accounting Hub at Allianz SE, specifically within the Investment Accounting team located in Unterföhring. This team is responsible for the accurate reporting and accounting of investments in compliance with HGB and IFRS for various Allianz entities, playing a crucial role in the preparation of the Group's quarterly and annual financial statements. Additionally, we ensure timely and high-quality reporting to regulatory bodies and support audits conducted by external auditors.
Your Contribution
- Assist in the preparation and processing of evaluations for internal reporting.
- Support daily operations within the team.
- Engage in projects and special assignments related to Investment Accounting.
- Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB, along with regulatory reports.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest or initial experience in accounting principles under IFRS and HGB.
- Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.
- Capable of working independently while being a collaborative team player.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Enrollment in a university is required for internship and working student roles.
- Submission of a certificate of enrollment is necessary for application consideration.
Preferred Qualifications
- High level of accuracy and sensitivity in tasks.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a passion for numerical data.
- Experience in data handling and interpretation.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including data modeling; knowledge of Access is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Experience in project work, consulting, or the financial services sector is advantageous.
