Position Overview
We are seeking a Finance Intern or Working Student to become part of our DACH Finance team in Munich. This role offers a comprehensive understanding of the various functions within a Finance Team in the FMCG/OTC sector, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Partnering, reporting, and project management.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage and execute projects and tasks to gain practical experience in Finance and Controlling.
- Ensure that all members of the DACH team have access to essential data, information, and analyses to enhance our decision-making processes.
- Assist the German Finance Team in various tasks, emphasizing reporting automation, standardization, financial analysis, and support in project completion, Actuals Submission, and Forecasting (P&L and Balance Sheet).
- Collaborate with multiple teams across functions and with our Finance Hub in Poland.
Your Role at Haleon
- Support and influence ongoing projects and tasks, from analysis and planning to Actuals Submission and reporting, gaining insights into all facets of Finance.
- Assist in the enhancement of our reporting framework in PowerBI and the optimization of our processes.
- Contribute to our integrated business planning process by performing essential finance tasks and gaining insights into our agile planning cycles.
- Independently manage ongoing projects and daily operational activities.
- Support cash flow forecasting initiatives to enhance our cash conversion.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in business administration, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
- Possess strong analytical skills, logical reasoning, and a passion for working with data.
- Proficient in Excel and most Office 365 applications.
- Demonstrate reliability and enthusiasm for collaborating with others in a dynamic finance team.
- Fluent in both German and English for daily communication.
