Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated intern or working student to become part of our DACH Finance team based in Munich. This role offers a comprehensive insight into the various functions of a Finance Team within the FMCG/OTC sector, encompassing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Partnering, reporting, and project management.
Your Responsibilities
- Take ownership of specific projects and tasks, gaining practical experience in Finance and Controlling.
- Ensure that all members of the DACH team have access to essential data, information, and analyses to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Assist the German Finance Team in multiple areas, focusing on reporting automation, standardization, financial analysis, and support for project completion, Actuals Submission, and Forecasting (P&L and Balance Sheet).
- Collaborate with various teams across functions and engage with our Finance Hub in Poland.
Key Contributions
- Support and shape ongoing projects and tasks, from analysis and planning to actuals submission and reporting, gaining insights into all aspects of Finance.
- Aid in the enhancement of our reporting framework in PowerBI and the optimization of our processes.
- Contribute to our integrated business planning by executing core finance tasks and gaining insights into our agile planning cycles.
- Independently manage ongoing projects and operational activities in our daily operations.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting efforts to enhance our cash conversion processes.
Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing a degree in business administration, mathematics, computer science, or a related field.
- Possess strong analytical skills, logical reasoning, and a passion for working with data.
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with most Office 365 applications.
- Demonstrate reliability and enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues in a dynamic finance team.
- Comfortable communicating in both German and English in a professional setting.
