Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and supervising environmental activities within assigned projects. This includes defining strategies for managing environmental aspects throughout the project lifecycle, assisting company functions and project teams in dealing with clients on environmental issues, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
You will also support the implementation of environmental company activities, such as bidding preparation, management system maintenance, training, indicators analysis, and improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will lead and influence coworkers and project teams, including suppliers/subcontractors, in increasing awareness about environmental aspects and impacts.
In this role, you will be responsible for tasks such as defining strategy for management of environmental aspects, assisting in the analysis of requirements identified in environmental impact assessment, permit, and licenses, developing all environmental deliverables required at project level, and conducting ISO 14001 environmental and legal audits.
Your expertise will be essential in promoting strategies to innovate and improve environmental performances, developing sustainability-related documents and activities to reduce project carbon footprint, reviewing Environmental KPIs at project level, and managing vessel/fleet environmental needs and Marpol requirements.
Requirements- ISO 14001 lead or internal auditor certification
- At least 5 years' experience in environmental management
- Good knowledge of English language
- Nice to have: knowledge of offshore regulation and sustainability management
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
