Project Manager EO Payloads

OHB System AG is a leading space company in Europe, part of the listed high-tech group OHB SE. We are seeking a Project Manager EO Payloads & Missions to join our team in Oberpfaffenhofen.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the project team to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including program managers, customers, and suppliers
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks
  • Define and implement resource planning and allocation
  • Establish and maintain project schedules and budget allocations
  • Implement OHB's risk management process and perform regular risk assessments
  • Support the project team with operational tasks as needed

Your Qualifications

  • Engineering degree, preferably with a specialization in aerospace or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience as a project manager or in a technically related position in space projects
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a high level of assertiveness and responsibility
  • Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility, negotiation skills, flexibility, and an effective and independent way of working
  • Good written and spoken English language skills
  • Relevant knowledge of common MS Office and project management tools
  • Will to travel
  • Project management certification is an advantage
