Data Center Operations Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team in Berlin. As an experienced technician with a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of our data centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high levels of safety and adhere to industry standards
- Troubleshoot events within SLAs and take daily readings of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Supervise contractors and ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment
- Drive continuous improvement efforts through standardization of procedures and policies
- Lead root cause analysis for operational issues and conduct meetings with SMEs
Requirements:
- Completed apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician/Electrician or equivalent recognized training
- Very good command of English and proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Broad operational knowledge and experience with electrical and mechanical equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive Data Center engineering experience or job-related experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline
- Familiarity with Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) control systems
Salary: €65,000 - €80,000 per annum
