Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with national and international accounting standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee internal and external reporting, providing timely and transparent financial information to stakeholders.
  • Monitor financial accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement effective cash management and liquidity planning strategies to ensure financial stability.
  • Lead project controlling, pre- and post-calculations, and BI reporting, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and special business evaluations, analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Optimize and further develop business processes within the company, streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary contact for auditors, tax consultants, banks, and insurance companies, ensuring seamless communication and cooperation.

Requirements

  • Commercial training with further training as an accountant (m/f/d) and/or a degree in business administration.
  • Several years of experience in a comparable area of responsibility, ideally in an international production/industrial environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of preparing annual financial statements, as well as financial and controlling reporting.
  • Independent, systematic, and analytical way of working.
  • Team player with the ability to lead and motivate employees.
  • High level of commitment and flexibility.
  • Good ERP and MS Office skills.
  • Business fluent in English and German.
