About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Compliance Officer at Sparkasse Südpfalz. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our financial operations are in line with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees and management on matters related to anti-money laundering and financial compliance.
  • Support the implementation of regulatory requirements and industry standards in the area of anti-money laundering.
  • Maintain and update internal processes and systems related to anti-money laundering.
  • Assist in the risk analysis process for anti-money laundering.
  • Conduct monitoring activities and submit suspicious activity reports as necessary.
  • Prepare for and coordinate anti-money laundering audits and serve as a point of contact for auditors.

Requirements:

  • Sparkassenfachwirt, Bankfachwirt, or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations and a willingness to stay up-to-date through regular training and self-study.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Self-motivated, structured, and responsible work style.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • High organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
