Head of Accounting and Financial Leadership

About the Role:

As a key member of the Thomas Sabo team, you will be responsible for leading the Accounting department and driving financial excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial results.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with the management team to drive business growth and profitability, providing financial insights and recommendations to inform strategic decisions.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and laws, ensuring the organization remains compliant and adaptable.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with a focus on Accounting and Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in an international company.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management, with a focus on developing and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
