Join our dynamic team at Teijin Aramid, within the Product & Application Development division, where we are seeking a
Head of Application Competence Center
Our Aramid products are utilized across various sectors, including tire reinforcement, aerospace composites, and ballistic protection. We merge our product knowledge with comprehensive application expertise to develop specialized Twaron yarns and fabrics, assisting our clients in fulfilling their customers' requirements efficiently.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and developing the ACC team
- Overseeing the operational efficiency of the ACC
- Ensuring adherence to legal standards
- Managing budget planning and financial oversight
- Formulating and executing investment strategies
- Collaborating with stakeholders (including Authorities, Technical Teams, Sales, Customers, etc.)
- Promoting a safe working environment in partnership with the HSE manager
You will be based in a collaborative environment, reporting to the Global Technology and Application Manager Ballistics, as part of the Teijin Aramid Research & Innovation Centre.
Your Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of leadership experience
- Technical expertise or managerial experience in a laboratory or production environment
- Bachelor's degree in Science, State-certified Technical Engineer, or equivalent professional qualification
- Ability to thrive in team-oriented and diverse international settings
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural sensitivity
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in German is required
- Strong commitment to safety protocols
