Application Competence Center Manager

We are seeking an experienced people manager with a technical background to lead our Application Competence Center team in Wuppertal, Germany.
About the RoleAs a Manager Application Competence Center, you will be responsible for leading a team of 11 FTEs, mainly working for our Ballistic and Protective business segments. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing the ACC team
- Keeping the ACC operational
- Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
- Planning and controlling of budget
- Investment planning and execution
- Managing stakeholders (various Authorities, Technical Team, Sales, Customers, Landlord, Management...)
- Safeguarding a safe work environment (together with the HSE manager)
We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience as a people manager, a technical background or experience as a manager in a laboratory/production environment. You should have a Bachelor of Science, State-certified Technical Engineer, or Bachelor Professional degree. You should also be a team player, enjoy working together in an international environment, and have good communication skills and understanding of cultural differences.
