Job Title: Manager Application Competence Center

We are seeking an experienced people manager with a technical background to lead our Application Competence Center team in Wuppertal, Germany.

About the Role

As the Manager of the Application Competence Center, you will be responsible for leading a team of 11 FTEs, mainly working on our Ballistic and Protective business segments. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing the ACC team
  • Ensuring the ACC is operational and compliant with laws and regulations
  • Planning and controlling the budget
  • Investment planning and execution
  • Managing stakeholders, including various authorities, technical teams, sales, customers, and management
  • Safeguarding a safe work environment, in collaboration with the HSE manager
About You

We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience as a people manager, a technical background, or experience as a manager in a laboratory/production environment. You should have a Bachelor of Science, State-certified Technical Engineer, or Bachelor Professional degree. Additionally, you should be a team player, enjoy working in an international environment, and have good communication skills and understanding of cultural differences. Fluency in English is required, and speaking German is essential.
