Business Development Manager

We're seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our portfolio company in Berlin. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for facilitating and overseeing transactions on the marketplace, ensuring seamless trade between buyers and suppliers.
Your primary focus will be on collaborating with both buyers and suppliers to address any issues, inquiries, or challenges that may arise during the trading process. You'll also stay informed about market trends, product demand, and industry dynamics to make informed trading decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Facilitating transactions on the marketplace
- Collaborating with buyers and suppliers
- Staying informed about market trends and industry dynamics
- Conducting regular analysis of trade data
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with buyers and suppliers
- Addressing client concerns and providing effective problem resolution
- Working closely with the technology team to provide feedback on platform functionality
- Ensuring all trades comply with relevant regulations and internal policies
We're looking for a candidate with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, excellent Italian skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills in English. A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field is required, with a master's degree being a plus.
Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or Account Management is essential. You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment and have a basic understanding of national and international trade and supply chain management.
