Warehouse Operations Manager

At Wabtec, we're committed to taking on the world's toughest challenges. As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Organizing and leading the warehouse and distribution team, including personnel allocation and vacation planning.
- Overseeing the storage and disposal of production waste.
- Coordinating and optimizing daily warehouse and distribution activities, including receiving and shipping, inventory management, and material handling.
- Monitoring and controlling material requirements, including ordering and procurement.
- Coordinating with other departments, such as quality, purchasing, and finance, to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements include:
- A technical degree or equivalent experience in logistics or a related field.
- Leadership experience and a minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse and distribution operations.
- A valid forklift operator's license and ability to work at heights.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
- Fluent German language skills and good English language skills.
