About the Role

Munich Re is a leading global reinsurer, and we're seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our IT Business Solutions team. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering business value through the management of IT projects and products for our life and health businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, and resources, utilizing industry-standard project management methodologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Lead project teams and coordinate with suppliers to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
  • Monitor and report project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
  • University degree in IT or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a strong background in IT project delivery.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard project management methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
Desirable Qualifications
  • CII qualifications and ITIL certification.
  • Experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, and system specification.
  • Deep understanding of operational impacts from business and IT change.
