About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Channel Sales Manager to join our team at DataGuard. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving the development of our partner channel sales strategy and executing on our go-to-market plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a highly professional partner management function, executing on our partner strategy with a focus on Tier 2 partnering efforts.
  • Ensure the selection and acquisition of the most promising partners per segment, such as multi-national system integrators, IT service providers, and IT distributors.
  • Ensure proper onboarding of new partners and the continuous enablement and planning of joint activities throughout all phases of the partner life cycle.
  • Grow our success with existing lighthouse partners, orchestrating efforts across all levels, functions & segments, incl. C-Level.
  • Create and execute joint business plans with tier 1 Go-to-Market partners, incl. marketing campaigns and other lead gen activities.
  • Join channel partners on their most important and complex co-sell deals, push value-based pricing proposals, design legal and commercial arrangements to maximize win rate.
  • Establish, coach and manage a partner management team and grow it in line with your success.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years' experience in partner channel sales in B2B SaaS, ideally within regulated or complex domains (e.g. Legal services, cybersecurity or finance).
  • Proven experience in building Tier 2 partnership models.
  • Track record of successfully building out new growth programs within a hyper-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's and or master's degree in information technology or business administration (or equivalent).
  • Domain knowledge in SaaS or digital business models.
  • Knowledge in any of the following is a plus: Cyber Security, Compliance, Data Privacy, GRC, IT Infrastructure.
  • A positive can-do, agile attitude necessary to thrive in a scale-up environment.
  • Clear head & heart in the right place.
  • Leadership experience a plus. You will guide and inspire a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills in German and English.
