About the Role
The Senior Site Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of projects on site, ensuring compliance with Uniper's site regulations and all preventive measures for accident prevention.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate HSSE activities on the construction site, including the interface with ongoing operations (Permit to Work System)
- Manage the Uniper construction site team and ensure effective communication with suppliers
- Coordinate quality assurance measures on the construction site and ensure compliance with contractual regulations
- Monitor deadlines, report deviations, and develop proposed solutions to make up for project delays
- Collaborate in the preparation or defence of claims and present construction site activities to stakeholders as required
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance with construction site regulations adopted for the respective project
- Liaise with supervisory authorities and other authorities as necessary for a smooth workflow on the construction site
Requirements
- University degree in an engineering program (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar)
- Several years of experience in site management/superstructure management
- Experience in power plant construction or the oil and gas industry is an advantage
- Organisational talent, familiarity with PM systems, DMS knowledge is an advantage
- Strong communication and assertiveness skills
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to perform and performance-orientated action
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English required
