Job Description

Uniper is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team in Gelsenkirchen. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the realization of a project on site and will be part of the Uniper project management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Uniper Site Team and ensure compliance with Uniper site regulations and all preventive measures for accident prevention.
  • Coordinate HSSE activities on the construction site, including the interface with ongoing operations.
  • Coordinate quality assurance measures on the construction site.
  • Manage the Uniper construction site team and ensure proper and timely collection and archiving of construction management-relevant inspection documentation.
  • Develop and implement construction site regulations and ensure compliance with the "Construction site management" regulation.
  • Liaise with supervisory authorities and other authorities as necessary.
Requirements
  • University degree in an engineering program (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or similar).
  • Several years of experience in site management/superstructure management.
  • Experience in power plant construction or the oil and gas industry is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and assertiveness skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to perform and performance-orientated action.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English required.
